2. Collection and storage of personal data as well as type and purpose of their use
When visiting the website
When opening our website www.droste-haibt.de, the browser used on your end device automatically sends information to the server of our website. This information is saved temporarily in a ‘log file’. The following information is thereby entered without your involvement and stored until automatic deletion:

  • IP address of the requesting computer,
  • date and time of the access,
  • name and URL of the accessed file,
  • website from which the access is made (referrer URL),
  • browser used and, where applicable, the operating system of your computer and name of your access provider.

The data specified are processed by us for the following purposes:

  • guaranteeing smooth connection to the website,
  • guaranteeing comfortable use of our website,

The legal basis for the data processing is Article 6 para. (1) sentence (1) (f) DSGVO (Datenschutz-Grundverordnung/General Date Protection Regulation) . Our legitimate interest follows from the above purposes for data processing. In no event do we use the data collected for the purpose of drawing conclusions about your person.

3. Disclosure of data
Any transmission of your personal data to third parties for purposes other than those listed below shall not take place.
We only pass on your personal data to third parties if:

  • you have granted your express approval under Article 6 para. (1) sentence (1) (a) DSGVO,
  • the passing on under Article 6 para. (1) sentence (1) (f) DSGVO is required to assert, exercise or defend legal claims and there is no reason to assume that you have an overarching protected interest in the non-disclosure of your data,
  • in the event that a statutory obligation exists for the disclosure under Article 6 para. (1) sentence (1) (c) DSGVO or
  • this is statutory permissible and required for processing contractual relationships with you under Article 6 para. (1) sentence (1) (b) DSGVO.

 

4. Cookies
We use cookies on our website. These are small files that your browser automatically creates and that are stored on your end device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our site. You have the right:

  • according to Article 15 DSGVO, to request information regarding your personal data that is processed by us. In particular, you may request information on the processing purposes, the category of the personal data, the categories of recipients in relation to which your data were or are disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to correction, deletion, restriction of processing or contradiction, the existence of a right of complaint, the origin of your data if they were not collected on our end, as well as on the existence of automatic decision making, including profiling and, where applicable, meaningful information on its details;
  • according to Article 16 DSGVO, to immediately request correction of incorrect or incomplete personal data stored with us;
  • according to Article 17 DSGVO, to request the deletion of personal data stored by us, unless the processing is required to exercise the right to freedom of expression and information, to fulfil a legal obligation, for reasons of the public interest or to assert, exercise or defend legal claims;
  • according to Article 18 DSGVO, to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data, insofar as the correctness of the data is contested by you, the processing is unlawful, but you reject deletion and we no longer require the data, but you require them to assert, exercise or defend legal claims or you have filed an objection to processing under Article 21 DSGVO;
  • according to Article 20 DSGVO, to receive the information you have provided to us in a structured, common and machine-readable format or to request transmission to another person in charge;
  • according to Article 7 para. (3) DSGVO, to withdraw your consent given to us at any time. This means that we will not, in the future, continue the data processing that was based on this consent and
  • according to Article 77 DSGVO, to complain to a supervisory authority. As a rule, for this purpose you can also contact the supervisory authority of your usual abode or place of work or our notaries office registered address.

 

6. Right of objection
If your personal data are processed on the basis of legitimate interests under Article 6
para. (1) sentence (1) (f) DSGVO, you have the right to file an objection against the processing of your personal data under Article 21 DSGVO if reasons are given for this that arise from your particular situation or the objection is directed against direct advertising. In the latter case, you have a general right of contradiction that is implemented by us without stating a special situation.

7. Data security
As part of the website visit, we use the common SSL procedure (Secure Socket Layer) in combination with the relevant highest encryption level, which is supported by your browser. As a rule, this is 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we use 128-bit v3 technology instead. You can see if a single page of our website is transmitted with encryption by the closed illustration of the key or lock symbol in the bottom status bar of your browser.
Furthermore, we use suitable technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against random or intended manipulation, partial or full loss, destruction or against unauthorised access by third parties.
